چکیده
Two-dimensional (2D) materials are widely used in various applications due to their extraordinary properties. In particular, electrochemical stability, low electrical resistance, and huge specific surface area make them very interesting active for supercapacitors. Herein, flexible, biodegradable, low-cost supercapacitors introduced a simple way based on hand-drawing pencil traces or -rubbing molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), titanium trisulfide (TiS3) franckeite the paper. Results demonstrate that pencil-drawn paper has higher capacitance performance (∼6.39 F/g) among suggested electrodes. Interestingly, MoS2/pencil, TiS3/pencil, franckeite/pencil drawn electrodes reveal dramatic improvements with long cyclic life thanks occurrence of synergetic effects available cites within heterostructures. Moreover, assembled symmetric solid-state retain even under applied bending, indicating excellent potential wearable/flexible applications.

Flexible ferroelectric element based on van der Waals heteroepitaxy
We present a promising technology for nonvolatile flexible electronic devices: A direct fabrication of epitaxial lead zirconium titanate (PZT) on flexible mica substrate via van der Waals epitaxy. These single-crystalline flexible ferroelectric PZT films not only retain their performance, reliability, and thermal stability comparable to those on rigid counterparts in tests of nonvolatile memory...
متن کاملNote: Mechanical in situ exfoliation of van der Waals materials.
Exfoliation, namely, the peeling of layered materials down to a single unit-cell thin foil, opens promising avenues to fabricate novel electronic materials. New properties and original functionalities emerge in the single and few layer configurations of a number of layered compounds, in particular in transition metal dichalcogenides. However, many of these thin exfoliated materials are very sen...
متن کاملAqueous gating of van der Waals materials on bilayer nanopaper.
In this work, we report transistors made of van der Waals materials on a mesoporous paper with a smooth nanoscale surface. The aqueous transistor has a novel planar structure with source, drain, and gate electrodes on the same surface of the paper, while the mesoporous paper is used as an electrolyte reservoir. These transistors are enabled by an all-cellulose paper with nanofibrillated cellulo...
متن کاملScaling laws for van der Waals interactions in nanostructured materials
Van der Waals interactions have a fundamental role in biology, physics and chemistry, in particular in the self-assembly and the ensuing function of nanostructured materials. Here we utilize an efficient microscopic method to demonstrate that van der Waals interactions in nanomaterials act at distances greater than typically assumed, and can be characterized by different scaling laws depending ...
